Resources – Investing Books

Here’s a great selection of investing books to compliment and expand upon the content on our Value Prophet website and your learning through the “Value Prophet Journey”…

One of the first investing books we read, and one that sold us on Value Investing, was Getting Started in Value Investing by Charles S. Mizrahi. An easy and convincing read. We can’t recommend this one highly enough!

A quirky title, but Robert T. Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad is a fantastic book that will really challenge your thinking! There’s an excellent review on

Of course you can not go wrong with reading one of the books on Warren Buffett. We recommend The Warren Buffett Way by Robert G. Hagstrom.

Another guru of Value Investing is Benjamin Graham. His consummate book on Value Investing, The Intelligent Investor, is a must read.

One book that gave us great insight in to how businesses make and use their profits, and how this relates to providing value for their shareholders, is Brian McNiven’s Concise Guide to Value Investing. A more detailed read, but great if you want to understand the maths behind business financials and investing.

There are also some good reviews on for business related books.
